Why you would work with Internal Consistency

October 5th, 2011

Many organizations produce mission and vision statements that are created and never referred to again. Sometimes they sound downright sterile. However, companies like Zappos have a very clear mission: to provide the best customer service possible. This is the life source of the whole organization and is central to every employee at Zappos. Furthermore, their culture is strong, incredibly effective, and serves as a showcase for others to model. They literally showcase their culture by offering tours of their headquarters.

If you have ever watched a TED talk, we highly recommend Simon Sinek’s great talk about the difference between leaders and those who lead.  He presents the argument that those who lead, lead with the purpose or the ‘Why’. Those who lead don’t start with what they do or how they do it; they start with why. Why does Zappos exist? The answer is easy, to offer the best customer service possible. (side note: Highly recommend Delivering Happiness. It’s a great story about the rise of Zappos)

Adopting this notion, here is why Internal Consistency has come into existence and why we offer the products and services we have.

We want to make your organization a great place to work using everything you already have.

We believe every organization is creative, resourceful, and whole – a cornerstone of many coaching models. It is with this belief that we strive to achieve our vision.

By focusing on the culture of the workplace, everything else falls into place.

  • Talented individuals seek out your organization: Imagine having a line of highly qualified individuals asking to work for your organization.
  • Employees are committed to the company: If the leaders make the workplace environment a priority, employees notice and reciprocate…because they want to. As Simon said, “they work with blood, sweat, and tears”.
  • Innovation is abundant: Ideas come from a place in our minds that says “things can be better and here is why/how it can be better”. Imagine working at a place that embraces your ideas. This doesn’t apply strictly to products and services; it extends to processes and more.

These are the reasons we want to make your organization a great place to work.

Check out the products and services we offer to achieve our vision.
